Ouch, Jan, this is a matter where I really can't be of any help, as I neither know what a router is But I believe there's people here a lot more skilled on this, and case not, sure you'll find support at Com-Central: just post your question on the Hardware forum here: -> www.com-central.net/nphpbb/phpBB2new/viewforum.php?f=31 Marco

I used to join games through my NAT router as long as the rip function is on and the ping from the WAN side. Port opening would mean a lot less problems I think.
I only used this method as I couldn't figure out how to open the ports! Now I have, it's a lot easier to host. Think the open ports are more important for hosting,

~S~ Here is a real good site that might help with router problems. I have a router-cable setup and this site dialed me so I could fly multiplayer again. www.mvps.org/nibblesnbits/PortRoute.htmlHope this helps. Sky

To be able to have many PC's networked together and all connected to the internet is an experience. Unfortunately, hackers and the like use the same doorways that we need to open to game with our mates. A router is like a mechanical (NAT)firewall made of doors. As soon as we know how and which doors to open, problem solved. ;D Who says crime doesn't pay? When the script kiddies grow up, what job do you think they end up with? Security Consultants I'll bet! Peanut wages? I think not! They have created an industry and we pay the price! Rant over ~S~
