Ah, Billy, you're touching a painful key: one of the reasons why we couldn't manage to regroup before was that we were, how to say, scattered amongst too many sims... Without rising any polemics, I confess that I still believe Cfs3 is far more realistic and has the greatest potential amongst the current combat simulators, but I had to surrender to the fact it's a crap as for multiplayer playability. So, as to me it's more important to meet the friends than to keep stubbornly on my own ideas, I surrendered to IL2/Forgotten Battles etc.etc... which is an excellent simulator, after all... Marco

I actually added Firepower from Shockwave and CFS3 now looks better and I can fly some nice late war German stuf!
The problem in CFS3 is that you play alone unless your multiplayer buddies are installed with exactly the same install.
Right now CFS4 sucks as well!
We might try another one of Fritzl's send out the CD campaigns?

Billy, you pointed your finger on a bleeding wound: the mismatches happening when you try to join an online game are the most upsetting thing in Cfs3! The worst thing is that I know Mathias Pommerien is working on a full serie of night dressed Bf-110's complete with Schrage Musik and all the rest I posted to that effect months ago, but I understand many of us have still problems with Cfs3 heavy hardware demands, so no luck Marco
